Dolores O'Riordan is an Irish songwriter, guitarist and singer who led the renowned rock band The Cranberries to its worldwide success for 13 years. In 2003, the band came into a hiatus, and in 2009, the group reunited. She is noted for her very strong Irish accent as well as her lilting voice. In May 2007, her first solo album titled Are You Listening? was released and two years later, her second solo album titled No Baggage was released.
Initially called The Cranberry Saw Us, the band was later renamed to The Cranberries. The band has released five albums titled Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can't We?, No Need to Argue, To the Faithful Departed, Bury the Hatchet, and Wake Up and Smell the Coffee in 2001. Before the band went hiatus in 2003, they released their greatest hits compilation which was titled Stars: The Best of 1992–2002. The band's other members are Steve DeMarchi, Denny DeMarchi, Graham Hopkins and Marco Mendoza.
Dolores Mary Eileen O'Riordan was born on September 6, 1971 in Limerick, Ireland. She is married to Don Burton. She has three children named Taylor, Dakota and Molly.
