Damon Albarn is a famous singer-songwriter, producer and frontman with a net worth of $40 million. He began his career in music by founding the band Blur. Struggling in their early years, the band received commercial success and critical acclaim with the album "Parklife", with Damon writing almost all of the album's songs. Along with Oasis, they fronted the Britpop genre of music in the UK during the 90's. To this day, they are known for being one of the most influential bands of their genre.
Damon also achieved success later in his musical career by creating the famous virtual band Gorillaz alongside artist Jamie Hewlett. A mixture of alternative rock, hip-hop and electronica, the band has produced a number of successful singles such as "Clint Eastwood" and "Feel Good Inc.". Damon has also participated in a number of other musical projects and in 2010, he was voted the fourth greatest frontman of all time by readers of Q magazine.
