Crystal Gayle is a popular country singer best associated with the popular country song titled "Don't It Make My Brown Eyes Blue". Throughout her entire career as a musician, Gayle has released six RIAA-certified gold albums. She is the first female to have ever reached platinum sales record in the country music history, thanks to her 1977 album titled  "We Must Believe in Magi."

Brenda Gail Webb in real life, Crystal Gale was born on January 9, 1951 in Wabash, Indiana, U.S.. In 1983, she was elected by People magazine as one of the world's top fifty most beautiful people.

In 1977 and 1978, she won the Female Vocalist Of The Year award from the Country Music Association Awards. In 1975, she was named by Music City News as the Most Promising Female Artist Of The Year. At the American Music Awards, she won the Favorite Female Country Artist  in 1979, 1980 and 1986, as well as Favorite Female Video Artist in 1986.  

She was a recipient of Top New Female Vocalist  award in 1975, and Top Female Vocalist in 1976, 1977 and 1979) In 2001, she was inducted into the Native American Hall of Fame and by 2008, she became an inductee to the Kentucky Music Hall of Fame. In 2007, she was named by American Entertainment Magazine the Best Female Entertainer.
