Cassadee Pope started her career when she joined the band, Blake while studying at Wellington Christian School in Wellington, Florida. The band disbanded before they were signed a recording deal, they founded a pop-punk band, Hey Monday.

With her accomplishment as the lead vocalist of the band, they released their first album, Hold On Tight. Pope provided her voice for Yellowcab, The Cab and All Time Low's singles.

Pope left the band and concentrate to her solo career as she released her self-titled album in 2012. Then, she auditioned for The Voice season 3 as she picked Blake Shelton as her mentor and won the title. Her compilation album on her performance on The Voice topped the Heatseekers.
