Simon Rex is a US actor, TV host, comedian and recording artist with an estimated net worth of $3 million. Simon was born in San Fransisco, California and is the single child of Zoe and Paul Cutright. Paul carried the Jewish blood from his mother’s side. At an early age of 19, he appeared solo for three pornographic movies – “Young, Hard & Solo II”, “Young, Hard & Solo III”, and “Hot Sessions III”.

In 1995, his career started, when MTV hired him as their VJ and he was on air for 2 years. Simon, however, always wanted to act in the mainstream movies or TV shows. In 1999, he acted in a television show “Jack & Jill” which continued for more than two seasons. He made several guest appearances on shows like Everwood, Baywatch, and Summerland. In 2006, Rex acted in the show, “Monarch Cove”. This ran for 11 episodes. He also co-produced a show named “Rex”, where Paris Hilton, Jaime Pressley, and Lance Bass guest appeared. He has appeared and acted in several movies like Scary Movie 3 & 4, The Karate Dog, The Forsaken and Pledge This.

Rex came into the music industry as a rapper after Mickey Avalon became his friend. He took up the stage name “Dirt Nasty” and formed a rappers group called “Dyslexic Speedreaders”. This group was formed along with people like Beardo, Andre Legacy and Mickey Avalon. The group, however, was disbanded when Avalon left the team owing to differences with Andre and Rex.

Rex was also the co-owner of an NYC nightclub “Plumm” with his partner Chris Noth, Noel Ashman and Samantha Ronson. The club is now closed.
