Shorty Rossi or Luigi Francis "Shorty" Rossi is a reality television show performer, dog lover and a talent manager. He was born to dwarf parents in Los Angeles, California in 1969. His net worth is estimated to be $4 million.
Shorty Rossi is best known for his appearance in the Pit Boss docudrama on the Animal Planet. It documents the life of Shorty and work done for Shorty's Rescue, an organization that he owns. Shorty's Rescue rescues Pit Bull dogs. The series started running on the Animal Planet from 2010. His wealth also comes from Shortywood Productions, a talent hunt and management company that Rossi owns. This organization identifies dwarfs with potential and promotes them in the entertainment industry. As a talent manager, Shorty takes personal interest in others like him.
Rossi first understood that he had potential in the industry when he appeared for the Alvin and the Chipmunks stage show as Alvin. He realized that there was potential to make good money for him and the other dwarfs like him. Shorty has also earned considerable wealth from many movies and commercials like The Kid, and The Grinch. He has done many theater plays as well.
His initial years were however not that great. Rossi was a member of a street gang. There were numerous felony charges for attempted assault and murder. Gang-related shooting incidents caused his conviction too. He was sent to the California Youth Authority, and ultimately sentenced to the Folsom State Prison. The term was for 10 years, 10 months and 10 days.
