Scott Stapp is an American singer, songwriter and musician who has an estimated net worth of $400 thousand. He was born Anthony Scott Flippen on August 8, 1973 in Orlando, Forida. He is best known as the lead vocalist and lyricist of the American rock bands, Creed and Art of Anarchy.

Scott and Mark Tremonti formed Creed in 1993 along with bassist Brian Marshall and drummer Scott Phillips. Rhythm guitarist Brian Brasher was also a brief member from 1993 until 1995.

Creed released its debut album My Own Prison in 1997. It was a great success, selling over six million copies and having four released singles that made it to the top spot of Billboard's Hot Mainstream Rick Tracks chart.

While working with the band, Stapp received several accolades, including a Grammy Award for the song With Arms Wide Open in 2001 and various RIAA certifications. He was also ranked the 68th greatest heavy metal vocalist of all time by Hit Parader.

After Creed announced the split up in 2004, Scott began to work on his solo career releasing several songs in two albums - The Great Divide  and Proof of Life. His debut single made it to No. 19 on Billboard 200. He joined Art of Anarchy in 2016 as replacement of lead singer Scott Weiland.

Scott Stapp is a philantropic person. He founded the With Arms Wide Open Foundation, which is dedicated to unprivileged children and families around the world.
