Beck Hansen is an American singer, songwriter, musician, and producer who has an estimated net worth of $25 million. He has amassed his wealth through his successful music career when he began focusing on it after he dropped out of school. He was born Bek Campbell on July 8, 1970 in Los Angeles, California. He grew towards hip-hop and folk in his teens and began to perform locally at coffeehouses and clubs.
Hansen is popularly known for his stage name Beck along with a unique musical style. When he moved to New York in 1989, he became involved in the small and fiery anti-folk movement in the city. He moved back to Los Angeles in in the early 1990s and released his breakthrough single, Loser, which became a worldwide hit in 1994. In the same year, he released his first major album Mellow Gold. Eventually, he was signed to Geffen Records. His second album, Odelay, released two years later and it served to reinforce his stature as a musical artist to watch. It topped critic polls and won several awards.
Several albums have been released thereafter. His thirteenth studio album, Colors, was released in October 2017 after a long production process. It was also another success as it earned him awards for Best Alternative Album and Best Engineered Album at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards.
