Canadian poker player, Daniel Negreanu has an estimated net worth of $15 Million. Negreanu was born to be a poker player and he dropped out of high school to pursue his dream with only a few credits remaining to graduate. After leaving school, Negreanu tried his luck at casinos throughout Canada and at illegal games that were held throughout the country.
Negreanu was successful as an amateur player and in 1996 at the young age of twenty-two he moved to Las Vegas to become a professional poker player. However, like many others the casinos of Las Vegas got the best of Negreanu and he was forced to move back to Toronto, Canada after just a short period of time.
Negreanu did not allow his failures in Las Vegas to discourage him from continuing his dream to making a living as a poker player. In 1997, Negreanu began making a name for himself when he won two events at the World Poker Finals at the Foxwoods Casino in Connecticut. With his newfound confidence, Negreanu began a successful career as a professional poker player.
Thus far in his career, Negreanu has won five World Series of Poker and two World Poker Tour championships. His career success has garnered him multiple awards and accolades as one of the best poker players in the world.
