Trick Daddy is a Florida-born rapper who has an estimated net worth of $100,000. He was born Maurice Young on September 23, 1973 and enjoyed rapping from a young age. He got his big break in 1996 when he was a singer on the track "Scarred" by Luther Campbell. The popularity of the song resulted in record producers taking note of Maurice. Soon after this, Trick Daddy Dollars (as Maurice called himself) was signed to Slip-n-Slide Records by the CEO, Ted Baker. His first album, Based on a True Story, was debuted in 1997.

In 1998 Maurice decided to drop "Dollars" from his name and became known as just "Trick Daddy". He released his next album, www.thug.com, in 1998, and the track "Nann Nigga" became a massive hit. This led to him hitting the Billboard charts and releasing subsequent albums that also rose in popularity. Trick Daddy even appeared in the film "Just Another Day" in 2009, after leaving Slip-n-Slide Records in 2008. He continues to work on his music today and recently revealed he has Lupus, but will not take medication for it due to side effects.
