Sean Combs is an American rapper, record producer, actor, and entrepreneur who has an estimated net worth of $825 million.

Sean Combs started his humble beginnings as an intern for Uptown Records. After getting fired from the job, he established his own record company, Bad Boys Records in 1993. He ventured out with late rapper, The Notorious B.I.G.

He signed up artists such as Faith Evans, 112, and Total. Also at the same time, he produced some of the notable songs for TLC’s "CrazySexyCool" album which became an instant hit.

Sean Combs is known in the music industry as Puff Daddy. He began his career as a rapper in his first album, "No Way Out" and released his first single, "Can’t Nobody Hold Me Down" in 1997. The said album earned Combs five Grammy nominations for which he won Best Rap Album in 1998.

Other albums that he released are "Forever", "The Saga Continues", "We Reinvented the Remix", "Press Play" and "Last Train to Paris", many singles of which became widely known worldwide.

Combs also received the Best Documentary Feature for Undefeated at Oscar Award in 2012 where he served as the executive producer. He is also a recipient of the Outstanding Actor in a Television Movie, Mini-Series or Dramatic Special for A Raisin in the Sun at NAACP Image Awards in 2009.

Aside from being a rapper and producer, he has also appeared in several films and TV series such as Monster’s Ball, Made, Draft Day, Hawaii Five O, CSI: Miami, and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. He produced the hit reality show on MTV, Making the Band from 2002-2009.

He also formed his own clothing line, Sean John, in 1998. He owned two restaurants, Justin’s in New York and Atlanta which closed in 2007 and 2012, respectively. He also acquired Enyce clothing line from Liz Clairborne in 2008.

Sean John Combs was born on November 4, 1969, in Harlem, New York. He took up business in Howard University before embarking his career as a well-known rapper.

He has five children from his previous relationships.
