Also known as PEPA, Sandra Denton is an American actress and hip hop artist with an estimated net worth of $15 million. Pepa has been a rapper since 1985. Her acting career debuted in 1992. She is best recognized as one of the members of the female rap trio, Salt-N-Pepa.

Sandra Denton was born on November 9, 1969 in Kingston, Jamaica. Denton was still in college when she and Cheryl "Salt" James met. Eventually, they released "The Showstopper" single which became a moderate R&B hit. It was in 1986 when Deidra "Spinderella" Roper joined the group. To date, the trio has already released five albums which include Brand New (1997), Very Necessary (1993), Blacks' Magic (1990), A Salt with a Deadly Pepa (1988), and "Hot, Cool, and Vicious" (1986). In 2002, the group disbanded.

As an actress, Pepa has appeared in TV shows and films such as VH1's The Surreal Life, The Surreal Life: Fame Games, First Time Felon, Oz, Joe's Apartment, The Salt-N-Pepa Show, "Are We There Yet?, and Let's Talk About Pep.
