LL Cool J is an American rapper, and actor which has an estimated net worth of $100 million.

LL Cool J started his music career when sent out demo tape to various recording companies. The people from Def Jam liked the demo and signed him to a record deal.

His first album, Radio was released in 1985. With singles such as I Can’t Live without My Radio and Rock the Bells became an instant hit on the airwaves. With thirteen albums and several chart-topping hits under his name that make him recognized as one of the best rapper in the music industry which includes I Need Love, Hey Lover, Control Myself, I’m Bad, and The Boomin’ System, among others.

Meanwhile, he appeared in several TV series and films such as In The House, Toys, Halloween H20, Deep Blue Sea, Rollerball, and 30 Rock, among others.

He is known for his portrayal as NCIS Special Agent Sam Hanna in the television series, NCIS: Los Angeles in 2009. On October 16, 2013, LL Cool J is nominated to be inducted at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame that will be held in 2014.

James Todd Smith was born on January 14, 1968 in Bay Shore, New York. Aside from his singing at acting career, he has written four books, launched his own clothing line, and his own music label, Rock the Bells.
