Best known for his stage name Fabolous, John David Jackson was born on November 18, 1977 in Brooklyn New York City, New York. He is of African American and Dominican descent. In addition to being a performer and artist, Fabolous is also an entrepreneur. In 2006, he launched his own clothing line, "Rich Yung Society".
Fabolous’ music career started in September 2001 with his album Ghetto Fabolous which debuted at #4 on Billboard 200. A week after its release, the album sold more than 143,000 copies. Along with two other singles, Ghetto Fabolous spawned the single "Can't Deny It" which earned a spot on Billboard Hot 100.
In March 2003, his second album titled Street Dreams was released. In subsequent years, Fabolous has released a couple of albums which include Real Talk (2004), From Nothin to Somethin (2007), Loso’s Way (2009), and There Is No Competition 2: The Grieving Music EP (2010).
