American rapper, musician, and producer, Erick Sermon has an estimated net worth of $7 million. Erick Sermon has earned that net worth as a rapper for the hip-hop group EPMD, also for his talented production work. He is originally from Bay Shore, New York. Sermon became famous as the one-third, alongside PMD & DJ Scratch, of the late-1980s–1990s hip-hop group EPMD and for production work. Sermon initially began as a Producer and Artist of the legendary hip-hop group EPMD. He eventually recorded solo albums for Def Jam in 1993. He rejoined the EPMD in 1997 and recorded a cover version of "Rapper's Delight" by the Sugarhill Gang, the first hit hip-hop record. However, the group disbanded for the second time in 1999. In early 2008, Sermon and Smith began their own record label called EP Records that got distributed by RBS/Universal Music Group. The seventh album of EPMD, We Mean Business, came out last December 2008.
