Deidra Roper, popularly known as DJ Spinderella has approximately a $10 million net worth. The rapper and DJ's net worth skyrocketed after being a part of the all-girl hip-hop group Salt'N' Pepa. To get a replacement after DJ Latoya Hanson left the group, auditions were held and hundreds of aspiring disc jockeys came, hoping to fill the spot. Deidra managed to hit the jackpot when she was elected to become a member of an all-female rap act. She beat TV personality, Wendy Williams who also aspired for the said position.

Sixteen at that time, Deidra took on the screen name “Spinderella.” Since Deidra was a minor at that time, there was a setback and she needs her parents' consent to join the nationwide tour. After getting her parents' blessing, Deidra and her group Salt 'N' Pepa became the in-demand group of all time, selling over 15 million singles and albums worldwide. They can proudly say that at least 6 of their singles were certified either platinum or gold.

Deidra doesn't only focus on spinning record decks, hence, she's also a producer of several topnotch songs for the group's album. Furthermore, in the late 90's, Deidra opened a beauty salon, the same time when her band released their final album “Brand New.” When the time that Deidra is ready to release her solo album under Salt 'N' Pepa with the label Red Ant, the record label shut down. Salt 'N' Pepa disbanded in 2002.
