She started her career by performing in the Trinity Hall in Cambridge. She was a founding member of the group, the Cambridge Talking Tongues. She had been modeling from a very young age and had appeared in a number of television serials like the Inspector Morse. Her breakthrough in movies came with a role in “Death Machine”, which was followed up by the “Chain Reaction”. Rachel was noticed and spoken off for her performances in these movies.

She won the Academy award, Golden Globe and the Screen Actors Guild Award for her supporting role in the movie, The Constant Gardner. Even though Rachel has been involved in movies for long, she has not given up on her pursuit of theatre. She won the best actress award in 2009 given out by Critics’ Circle Theatre Award of London for her performance as Blanche Dubois in the Donmar reprise of “A Street Car Named Desire”. She has made most of her money juggling television and movie assignments.

Rachel Hannah Weisz is British by birth although her roots can be traced to Hungary and Austria. From 2001 till 2010, Weisz was married to Darren Aronofsky, who is a reputed director. They have a son, Henry. In 2011, she got hitched to Daniel Craig, who currently plays the role of James Bond.
