Beau Willimon is an American screenwriter and playwright known for his numerous creations.

After completing his bachelor's degree from Columbia University, Pack Beauregard "Beau" Willimon attended Columbia's School of the Arts where her finished his MFA in screenwriting.

Some of his well known works include Farragut North, Spirit Control, and Lower Ninth. They have been performed at place like the HERE Arts Center, the Battersea Arts Centre in London, the South Coast Repertory, Cherry Lane Theater, the Phoenix Theatre, the Actors Theater of Chicago, Ars Nova and MCC Theater.

His Farragut North was later adapted into film and retitled to  The Ides of March. The film was directed by George Clooney. In 2012, the movie was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay. Furthermore, it received four Golden Globe nominations which include the Best screenplay and Best Picture – Drama  categories.
