Paul Frederic Simon has an estimated net worth of $45 million. Simon was born on October 13, 1941 in Newark, New Jersey. In 1964 he became part of "Simon and Garfunkel" with Art Garfunkel. He wrote many of the songs they played but in 1970 he started a solo career.
Paul Simon is considered to be one of the most prolific song writers of all time. He has won twelve Grammys over his career for various musical works. He is also a member of the Rock and Roll of Fame as well as being chosen as one of the "100 People Who Shaped the World" by Time Magazine. Paul also received an Honorary Doctor of Music from Berklee College of Music. He is currently is a member of their board of trustees. Paul Simon, along with his brother, established The Guitar Study Center in New York City, which later became a part of The New School in New York City.
