Born Steven Bruce Schneider, professionally known as Steve Stevens has an estimated net worth of $45 million. Stevens is an American guitarist and songwriter. He was born in the Brooklyn area of New York in 1959.
He first learnt how to use a guitar at age seven, and was taught by his sister, another avid guitarist. His consistent brilliance in the instrument saw him accepted into La Guardia High School. He honed his craft there, eventually gaining recognition and was accepted by different prestigious singers, including Billy Idol and Peter Criss.
He eventually ventured into songwriting, where he worked gigs for various greats such as Michael Jackson, Robert Palmer and Ric Ocasek, among many others. Thereafter, he was signed up to Warner Brothers, by Ted Templeton, where he proceeded to set up his own group, The Atomic Playboys.
He continued to shine, mainly majoring in progressive rock, and has maintained a busy schedule to date.
