English musician and songwriter, Stephen Percy "Steve" Harris has an estimated net worth of $60 million. Steve Harris is the lead composer and lyricist for of the British heavy metal band Iron Maiden. Some of his influences for his music include bands such as King Crimson, Emerson Lake & Palmer, Wishbone Ash, Genesis, Deep Purple.

Before he joined a band, Harris aspired to be a football player and asked to train for West Ham United. During his early teens, he learned to play bass guitar, he had a stint with Gypsy's Kiss and Smiler. When he left Smiler, he formed Iron Maiden on Christmas Day in 1975.

With 16 albums and numerous concert tours, Harris has been known for his trademark galloping bass patterns in some of Iron Maiden's songs. In 2012, he released his solo album, British Lion.

Born Stephen Percy Harris on 12 March 1956 in Leytonstone, Essex (now London), England. He has six children; four children with his former wife, Lorraine, and two with current partner, Emma.
