Nathan Willett is a California-based singer-songwriter and musician who has an estimated net worth of $7 million. He was born to very religious parents and grew up in a very conservative family in Southern California. At a very early age, he was already interested in music and started playing the guitar.

Willet is best known as the lead vocalist and guitarist of the Cold War Kids, an American indie rock band from Long Beach, California. His journey in music began when he met his band members, Matt Maust (bass guitar), Matt Aveiro (drums, percussion) and Jonnie Russell (guitar, vocals, piano, keyboards, percussion) in the latter's apartment. Together, they formed the band in 2004. However, the Russell and Aveiro left the band along with addition member, Dann Gallucci (guitar, keyboards, percussion). Current members include Willet, David Quon (guitar, backing vocals), Joe Plummer (drums, percussion) and Matthew Schwartz (keyboards, backing vocals, guitar, percussion).

Nathan Willet also plays the piano while being the resident poet for the band that hit the indie music since 2005. The group has since released seven studio albums as of this time. Their first release is with the independent record label Monarchy Music. Although the band has not received any accolades, their albums are highly and positively regarded because of their impressive blues-rock sound and lyrics.
