Mickey Hart (Michael Steven Hartman) was born on September 11, 1943 in New York, United States. He performed and went on tours with both the Rhythm Devils and the Mickey Hart Band.
In the summer of the year 2015, the Grateful Dead's surviving members namely Mickey Hart, Bill Kreutzmann, Bob Weir and Phil Lesh were joined by Jeff Chimenti, Trey Anastasio and Bruce Hornsby to perform a series of concerts in celebration of the Grateful Dead's 50th anniversary. The performances took place at the Levi Stadium in Santa Clara on June 2015 and Chicago's Soldier Field on July 2015. These performances were able to mark the first time that Hart, Weir, Kreutzmann and Lesh performed together since the Grateful Dead's tour in 2009 that was publicized as the last time that the musicians will perform together.
