Billie Eilish is an American singer and songwriter who has an estimated net worth of $50 million. Stylistically, she crafts genre-blurring songs with introspective lyrics that bridge the gap between indie music and dark pop, which earned her an endeared audience while still a teenager. Eilish was the youngest musician to be nominated in the four major Grammys, Record of the Year and Song of the Year for "Bad Guy", Album of the Year, and Best New Artist. She won those main categories, becoming the second person to achieve that feat (the first was Christopher Cross in 1981). Besides, she was awarded Best Pop Vocal Album.

After the publication of the tracks "Six Feet Under" and "Fingers Crossed" in 2015, Eilish made her breakthrough later that year when uploaded the song "Ocean Eyes" to SoundCloud, released in 2016 by the label Darkroom, a subsidiary of Interscope Records, selling 3 million copies as of April 2020 just in the United States. The song was co-written and produced by her elder and only brother Finneas, who produce her and with whom she collaborates on composing and shows. It surpassed 730 million streams on Spotify and spawned a number of remixes.

Eilish was the youngest person listed in the “Celebrity 100” ranking made by Forbes in 2020. From June 2019 to June 2020, she had earnings of $53 million, and twenty-five of those are explained for a contract with Apple to make a documentary about her life and career. If the COVID-19 pandemic hadn't shuttered her tour, she might have collected significantly more.

Billie Eilish, also known as Billie Eilish Pirate Baird O'Connell, was born on December 18, 2001, in Los Angeles, California, to Maggie Baird and Patrick O'Connell. She grew up in a family of actors and musicians, and her parents were popular figures in the American entertainment industry. At eight years old, she joined the Los Angeles Children's Choir, developing the voice that then would sing on her music. By the age of eleven, Eilish was writing and composing her own songs.

In 2018, Eilish issued the singles "You Should See Me in a Crown" and "When the Party's Over," and both would be on her debut LP, When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?, which was released in March 2019 and showcased a blend of pop, electronic, and rock. Charting at number one on the Billboard 200, the album became a worldwide success and one of the most lauded records of 2019. It has sold 3.9 million copies in the United States. One of its singles, "Bad Guy", sold 6 million copies in the United States, topped the Billboard Hot 100, was remixed by Justin Bieber, and has been streamed more than 1.7 billion times on Spotify. Eilish then embarked at the When We All Fall Asleep Tour from April to November. After the tour, the single “Everything I Wanted” appeared, and it reached the top ten on the Hot 100. By the end of the year, her acoustic set Live at Third Man Records was published. It peaked at number 55 on the Billboard 200 and was atop the US Vinyl Albums chart.

Eilish started the Where Do We Go? World Tour in 2020, but after three shows, it was canceled due to coronavirus. In that year, she released the singles "My Future" and “Therefore I Am”, and both songs became top ten hits on the Hot 100. Eilish also wrote "No Time to Die" for the soundtrack of the last James Bond film, which has the same name as the song and will be in cinemas in October 2021.

In April 2019, Eilish released a clothing line in collaboration with the artist Takashi Murakami. The same month, she worked with Adobe Creative Cloud for some advertisements. Eilish appeared in Calvin Klein’s "I Speak My Truth In #MyCalvins" ad campaign in May 2019, as well as in the Ad Council's "Seize the Awkward" campaign, a series of public service announcements targeting mental health awareness. She fronted MCM worldwide's fall advertising campaign in July 2019, and later that month collaborated with Freak City for a clothing line. In August 2019, Eilish partnered with Apple to allow customers to experiment with her song "You Should See Me in a Crown" in the software Music Lab at its stores. She also was involved with the clothing company Siberia Hills.

Eilish was raised as a vegetarian and is a regular advocate for animal rights and veganism. As of January 2020, she lives with her parents in the Highland Park neighborhood of Los Angeles. Eilish revealed that has Tourette syndrome and suffers from depression.
