Art Alexakis is an American singer, composer, and guitarist who has an estimated net worth of $2 million. Born Arthur Paul Alexakis on April 12, 1962 in Los Angeles, California, Art grew up struggling with his mother and siblings.

During the 1980s, Alexakis was part of the Shakin' Brave band but the group was not able to rise in the music scene in Southern California. He and his first wife then moved to San Francisco where he stumbled upon a genre of music known as "cowpunk" and this inspired him to establish Shindig Records.

In the late 80s, the Easy Hoes was formed and released one album, Tragic Songs of Life, in 1989. His next project was supposed to be a solo album but it turned out to be a group project under the name Colorfinger. The band released the album, Deep in the Heart of the Beast in the Sun, and the EP, Demonstration.

When Art moved to Portland, he placed an ad looking for a bass player and a drummer to form a new band. Craig Montoya and Scott Cuthbert responded, and together, the trio formed the band Everclear. He has released nine studio albums with the band. He has also written and produced tracks for other artists.

Aside from these, he appeared in several television shows such as The Chris Isaak Show, Nickelodeon's Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide, and Committed.
