Moss gone from teenage model to successful businesswoman with a few scrapes along the way, but just how rich is Kate Moss?Well, according to the 2011 Sunday Times rich list, Kate Moss is believed to be sitting on a £48m fortune.

Moss is a fashion world double threat, landing rich modeling and designing gigs. Earning over $13.5 million between May 2010 an May 2011, thanks in part to a lucrative design deal with U.K.'s TopShop. Fashion's onetime bad girl added more than $5 million to her earnings over the last year, thanks to new deals with the likes of Dior, Vogue Eyewear and Cidade Jardim. Other endorsements include Longchamp, David Yurman, Rimmel and YSL.

Moss, 37, is engaged to guitarist Jamie Hince from the band The Kills. She recently launched her latest collection for French fashion house Longchamp. The supermodel caused a collective gasp recently by making a catwalk appearance at the climax of the Louis Vuitton fashion show at the Louvre in Paris, puffing away on a cigarette. Moss has rebuilt her career after appearing on the front page of the Daily Mirror in 2005 allegedly snorting cocaine. She was ditched by Chanel and Swedish clothing company H M. But since then her career has taken off again. New contracts with Virgin Mobile, Stella McCartney, Nikon, Calvin Klein and Roberto Cavalli alone are thought to amount to about £6m. In July 2006 she signed a $2.9m advertising deal with clothing company Belstaff. Her total earnings up to that point in 2006 were reckoned to have hit £11m. In the three years to 2008, Forbes magazine put Moss’s total earnings at £17m. With the success of her clothes line and continuing strong earnings from modelling campaigns, Moss is worth £48m this year.
