Jane Holzer is a producer, artist, and an art collector with an estimated net worth of $200 million. She used to be an actress, model, and Warhol superstar who is often known by the name Baby Jane Holzer.
Jane Brookenfeld Holzer was born on October 23, 1940 in Florida, she grew up in Florida and New York. She is the daughter of Carl Brookenfeld, a successful real estate developer. Her family owned properties in multiple cities. She married Leonard Holzer who is an heir to a New York real estate fortune and is also noted for including art projects in his developments, most especially at the Smith Haven Mall.
Holzer was expelled in college in the early 1960's and she happened to meet Andy Warhol. Since then, she was one of the young women who is featured in many of his films in the 60's era such as Soap Opera, Couch, Batman Dracula, and The Thirteen Most Beautiful Women. She decided to move away from Warhol after seeing that everyone involved in his world had been dependent on drugs.
Jane Holzer attempted to launch a film career but was unsuccessful. She turned to be a producer and has since produced several projects including the film version of Kiss a Spider Woman, Spike of Bensonhurst, and Naked Tango. She has released a song in 1967 for the Atco Label, Rapunzel/Nowhere – Atco 6482 which was produced by Al Kasha and arranged by Barry Goldberg.
