About Arthur Kulkov
Arthur Kulkov is a Russian model who was born in Siberia on August 20, 1983. He moved from Russia to New York and attended St. Francis College in Brooklyn. He graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Marketing in 2005. While in college, he used to play soccer during his free time, which led to him being discovered by a scout. He was hesitant at first, but later agreed to join the modelling industry.
Kulkov started with big success in modelling and has worked for brands such as Barneys New York, Original Penguin, Sisley and Russell & Bromley during the Fall 2008 season. He was also featured in the international editions of GQ, including the American, French and Italian magazines.
Arthur became the face of Banana Republic in 2010 and a part of the lucrative Dolce & Gabbana fall 2010 campaigns which made him a top model when he became the face of the brand in 2011. He was made a permanent fixture for Tommy Hilfiger since 2011 when he was featured in advertisements for “The Hilfigers” lifestyle campaign. In the same year, he got his big break when he appeared on the cover of the March 2011 issue of Details along with Noah Mills and Sean O’Pry. This made him one of the first made models to do so.
Among his other works were done for labels such as Louis Vuitton, Vivienne Westwood, John Galliano and a lot more. In the past year, he has earned an estimated $905,000 thanks to his multiple contracts with D&G and Tommy Hilfiger as well as his appearances in ads for Park & Bond, Gap, Express and Bloomingdales.
