Mitch Hedberg was an American actor and comedian best known for his dry delivery and wordplay.
Hedberg began his career as a standup comedian, and made appearances on MTV's Comikaze, and The Late Show with David Letterman. In 1997, he won the grand prize at the Seattle Comedy Competition. The following year, he appeared in an episode of Fox's series That '70s Show. In 1999, he wrote, directed, produced and starred in the independent feature film Los Enchiladas!
He recorded three comedy CDs: Strategic Grill Locations, Mitch All Together, and Do You Believe in Gosh? In 1998 and 2001, he appeared at the Montreal Just For Laughs comedy festival.
Mitchell Lee Hedberg was born on February 24, 1968 in Saint Paul, Minnesota, USA. He graduated from Harding High School in Saint Paul. He was married to Canadian comedian Lynn Shawcroft in 1999. Hedberg was found dead in a hotel room in Livingston, New Jersey on March 29, 2005.
