Maureen McCormick is an American author, recording artist, and actress born in the year 1956. She gained her recognition mostly as a child actress when she had portrayed the role of Marcia Brady for the US sitcom, Brady Brunch. McCormick's net worth is $4 million.

She was born in Encino, California and is the daughter of Irene and William. At an early age of six, she was crowned as Baby Miss from San Fernando Valley. In 1964, she started appearing in various commercials promoting Chatty Cathy dolls and Barbie. In 1970, she also gave her voice to the new Chatty Cathy dolls. These dolls had a different appearance from the old dolls. This commercial was on for around two years. This made her quite a familiar personality and she started getting numerous offers for making guest appearances in shows.

McCormick appeared in popular sitcoms like I Dream of Jeannie, Bewitched, My Three Sons, Honey West and the Farmer's Daughter. In Brady Bunch, McCormick played the role of a perky girl which earned her a household name. This television series ran for around five years. After it stopped, these episodes were rebroadcasted in TV syndication for several years. Due to the spin-off and remake into parody movies, the series gained cross-generational fame.

Her personal life has always been quite disturbed. After the cancellation of her popular show, Brady Bunch, she went into severe depression and addiction. Maureen has also allegedly traded sex for drugs. Once she appeared for a Steven Spielberg' audition all high on cocaine. As a result, she lost her reputation in Hollywood. Maureen has suffered from paranoia and depression even after her marriage.
