Margaret Julia Thomas better known as Marlo Thomas is an American producer, social activist and an actress. She is famously known for her role in the popular TV series “That Girl”. Marlo’s net worth has been estimated to be $35 Million.

Thomas was born on November 21st 1937. She was born in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Danny Thomas, who was a Lebanese American Comedian and Rose Marie Cassaniti, an Italian American. Thomas’ brother Tony is a producer and her sister Terre is a former actress. She grew up in Beverly Hills, California. When she was young, Marlo’s parents used to call her Margo, which changed to Marlo later. Thomas attended the Marymount High School and graduated from the University of South California.

Her acting career began in 1961. She was a regular in “The Joey Bishop Show” until 1962. In the meantime, she was also seen in other shows such as The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis, The Dona Reed Show, Ben Casey, My Favourite Maritain and Bonanza. In the year 1966, she got her breakthrough role in That Girl as Ann Marie. It was an ABC production. Marlo won a Golden Globe and the Emmy Award four times.
