There are some actors who have a lot of formal training before getting on the stage or the screen. But there are those who get going without any such training, and they excel in the trade too – they are perhaps natural actors. Lucas Black is one of them. He is a television and movie actor who has made it big in recent times. He has been nominated for several awards, and his performances have been critically acclaimed too. Lucas Black has a net worth of $6 million.
He managed to get his first acting job in 1994 in the movie “The War” of Kevin Costner. Kevin could understand his potential though Lucas did not have any formal training. Lucas has performed in “Sling Blade”, “Crazy in Alabama”, “All the Pretty Horses”, “The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift”, “The X-Files”, “Get Low”, and many others. But he is perhaps best known for the performance in the television series American Gothic that was aired on CBS between 1995 and 1996. His wealth comes from both the movies and television shows. The price he charges is going up with his rising popularity.
He has been nominated for the Saturn Award, Young Artist Award, Las Vegas Film Critics Society Youth in Film Award, Teen Choice Award, and also by the Toronto International Film Festival. Black is yet to win a major award though. But it seems only a matter of time before he does.
Lucas has worked as a model for Calvin Klein jeans too.
