Linda Perry is a songwriter, musician, and producer with an estimated net worth of $18 million. She wanted to be a musician from a very young age – she wrote her first full song when she was just 15 years of age. Music came naturally to her as her Portuguese-American father was a musician himself. Her Brazilian mother was a model and designer.

Linda faced a lot of hurdles in the initial years. She even had to play in the bars, coffee houses and streets of San Francisco while she was looking for a break. Linda Perry was invited by the 4 Non Blondes to play for them. She became the lead singer and delivered a hit song, "What's Up?" Linda was also the songwriter for 4 Non Blondes. She, however, left the group soon enough and moved on to other things. She wrote and produced tracks for several artists. That’s when she really hit it big. Over the years, Linda Perry has written and produced tracks for Christina Aguilera, Alicia Keys, Jewel, Melissa Etheridge, Kelly Osbourne, and Solange Knowles, among others.

Linda’s wealth comes from her songwriting and production work. She has made some money from singing too, but this is not anywhere near what she earns from writing and producing tracks for some of the biggest musicians of our times.

Linda suffered from an addiction problem before becoming a musician. She also had a kidney disease in her younger days. Since 2011, she has been in a relationship with Sara Gilbert.
