She is also the co-author of the book "Going Vegan". She hogged the limelight by playing the role of a possessed child, Regan in the movie “The Exorcist” of 1973. Apart from movies and TV shows and series, she is also an animal rights activist working with PETA, Feed the Children, Variety and other organizations.
She was born in St. Louis, Missouri U.S. on January 22nd, 1959 and was raised in Westport, Connecticut. She started her career at the age of 6 as a child model. Blair starred in quite a few low-budget horror and exploitation films, including Hell Night (1981), Chained Heat (1983) and Savage Streets (1984). But of course, she really became famous only after The Exorcist.
Towards the end of the 1970s, Blair faced legal troubles and was arrested and charged with drug possession. She underwent 3 years’ probation and paid a $5000 fine. Linda has not been able to make a comeback since this incident.
