Judith Regan is an American book publisher, editor, producer, TV and radio program host who has an estimated net worth of $60 million.
She was born in 1953 in Massachusetts and went on to attend the Bay Shore High School. In 1975, she got her degree in Art History and English from the Vassar College. She did her further higher studies from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. While working as a secretary at the Harvard Institute of Politics, she got recruited by The National Enquirer.
In 1980s, Regan wrote and edited for a number of publications and also produced many TV shows. She earned considerable money by signing a six-figure deal with Simon & Schuster for writing two books. Later on, however, she had to cancel the contract as her younger son had suffered a critical head injury after a bad road accident. However, Simon & Schuster offered her the role of an editor later. She happily accepted the offer, but with the condition that she will be allowed to work from home so that she could take care of her son.
While Judith worked at Simon & Schuster, she got a chance to work with many famous people like Rush Limbaugh and Howard Stern. Regan also discovered Walter Kirn, Douglas Coupland and Wally Lamb. Gradually, with the dedication to her work, she got the recognition as one of the most successful editors. Regan hosted many talk shows from 1994 to 2004, including her own weekend talk show, “Judith Regan Tonight”.
