A multi-awarded actor, Judd Hirsch is best recognized as Alan Eppes on Numb3rs, John Lacey on Dear John, and Alex Rieger on TV comedy series titled Taxi.

A graduate of Physics at the City College of New York, Judd Hirsch pursued an acting career and his first major TV appearance took place in 1974 in the mini-series The Law. Among the awards and recognitions he received include Emmy Award for Lead Actor In a Comedy Series, Golden Globe Award for Best Actor in a Television Series in a Comedy or Musical, Tony Award for Best Performance by a Leading Actor in a Play and a Tony Award in 1986.
