The Wizard of Oz, 63-year-old Lloyd-Webber's adaptation of the Hollywood musical, opened in the West End to good reviews in March and took £10m in advance bookings. His Really Useful Investments company in London made £10.6m profit on £153m sales in 2009-10. Worldwide, the composer's business empire and royalty stream are worth £550m. Other assets, such as art and wine, are holding up well but with continuing weakness in his property portfolio.
