Jonathan Rhys Meyers has made his wealth through his roles in different films and his modeling campaign with Hugo Boss. He received a Golden Globe Award nomination for his role as King Henry VIII in the movie “The Tudors”. He is known for his roles in films Mission Impossible III, Bend It Like Beckham, and some others where his performances were appreciated. He also played the role of Elvis Presley in the biographical miniseries, Elvis. He got his first role in “A Man of No Importance” in 1994. He also appeared in the television show Gormenghast.

Rhys was born on 27th July 1977 in Dublin, Ireland. He is the son of Mary Geraldine and the musician O’Keeffe. He has three younger brothers – Jamie, Alan, and Paul. His brothers are professional musicians. His parents were separated when he was three years old.
Jonathan has been linked with Reena Hammer who is the daughter of Ruby Hammer since 2004. According to reports, Jonathan had a serious alcohol problem, for which he even had to go to a rehabilitation facility. His mother Geraldine died in November 2007 due to an illness. He has been reported for disruptive behavior, which included the use of a racial slur.
