John Frank Tesh is an American pianist, music composer, radio host and television entertainer with a net worth of $30 million. He was born on July 9, 1952, in Garden City, New York.

By the age of six, Tesh was already musically inclined, playing piano and trumpet. He started his career in 1970 as a news anchor and reporter at WSM-TV in Nashville, Tennessee. He hosted the television shows like, " Entertainment Tonight" (1986-1996) and "Joh and Leeza From Hollywood" (1993-1994 and also sports events like, "Tour De France" bicycle race from 1983 to 1986, Gymnastics at 1992 and 1996 Summer Olympics. He also appeared in one of the "Star Trek" episodes " The Icarus Factor" as a Klingon Warrior. As a musician, he composed and wrote the theme song of NBA on NBC. Some of his hit songs include Give me more, Mother I miss you, Forevermore, This is your gift, etc. His daily and weekly radio show, " The John Tesh Radio Show" airs music genres like Adult Contemporary, Classic hits and soft rock along with a piece of genuine advice and tips, real life-knowledge, random intelligence and expert advice about family matters. His show "Intelligence for your life" is heard on 355 stations nationwide by more than 8 million listeners. In 2006 his radio show became the winner of the "2006 Radio Ink Reader's Choice Award" in two categories: " Best Daily Music Program" as well as " Best Weekly Music Program".
