Joseph Mark Trohman, best known by his stage name Joe Trohman, is an American musician, singer, songwriter, composer and record producer. Joe’s current net worth is estimated to be $12 million.

He is popularly known as the guitarist of a Chicago based punk pop band called “Fall Out Boy”. He is also the lead and rhythm guitarist of a heavy metal super group called “The Damned Things”. With the album Infinity on High (2007), Fall Out Boy went to the US Billboard 200 from underground pop punk. With Trohman on the lead vocals and guitar “Damned Things” released their debut song.

Born in Hollywood, Florida, Joe was raised in South Russell, Ohio and later moved to Chicago. He was born into a Jewish family and was the son of a cardiologist. Trohman along with Pete Wentz attended the New Trier High School at Winnetka. Pete Wentz is also the bassist of the band “Fall Out Boy”, and together, they also used to play in a band called Arma Angelus.

Trohman was hooked up with hardcore while he was in high school. At sixteen, along with Pete Wentz, he decided to produce more melodic songs which were highly influenced by the band Green Day. Trohman then added Patrick Stump to the group. It was almost instantly successful with its debut album “From Under the Cork Tree”. It was released in 2005 and reached the US Billboard 200 at #9. They were able to sell more than 2.5 million albums in the United States. The band then launched a tour around the world to support the album. Finally with “Infinity on High” they made it to the US Billboard 200 at #1.
