Jeff Tremaine is an American television and film director and producer with a net worth of $40 million. Tremaine was one of the core creators of MTV's Jackass. He directed Jackass: the Movie, the sequel Jackass Number Two and Jackass 3D as well as the spin-off Wildboyz. Tremaine served as the editor for Big Brother Magazine and the art director for the BMX-focused magazine GO and was a professional BMX rider before his Jackass fame. He currently serves as the executive producer of Fantasy Factory, Nitro Circus, Ridiculousness and Loiter Squad.

Alongside Spike Jonze and Johnny Knoxville, Tremaine was one of the individuals responsible for promoting Jackass to fame. Jeff's tenure as editor for Big Brother Magazine brought him into contact with Knoxville, who pitched an idea involving self-injury to Tremaine. Tremaine hired Knoxville and convinced him to film his stunts and featured them in Big Brother's next skateboarding movie. After seeing a similar project produced by Bam Margera, Tremaine recruited director Spike Jonze and Margera's crew to begin production of Jackass.
