Jared Fogle, the spokesman for Subway, has an approximate net worth of $15 Million. By the time Fogle was 20 years old, his weight had ballooned to over 400 pounds. While attending college at Indiana University, Fogle like many other students, survived on an unhealthy diet of copious amounts of pizza, ice cream, burgers, French fries, and more junk food. Consuming over 10,000 calories per day, he soon realized that his weight was a hindrance to his social life, job prospects, and his health.
To lose weight Jared Fogle began his self-proclaimed "Subway Diet." After seeing a television advertisement for Subway sandwiches with six grams of fat or less he began eating them daily. The sandwiches in conjunction with Fogle beginning an exercise routine led to him losing over 200 pounds. After the student newspaper published a story about his remarkable weight loss Subway executives took notice of the story.
Soon, the executives contacted him and asked him to be a key part of their national advertising campaign. Before long, Jared Fogle became the face of Subway and has appeared in thousands of commercials, been a guest on The Oprah Winfrey Show, and is currently writing a book on his remarkable story.
