Hoda Kotb is an American news anchor with an estimated net worth of $12 million. She is the co-host of the television show Today with Kathie Lee Gifford. She also corresponds for the NBC prime time television show Dateline. Hoda Kotb was born in Norman, Oklahoma on August 9, 1964. She grew up in West Virginia and her parents moved to the U.S. from Egypt. She graduated in 1983 from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Broadcast Journalism.

She began as a news assistant for the broadcast station CBS and went to Cairo, Egypt. She worked for three years from 1986 to 1989 as a Morning Anchor for an ABC station in Illinois. For two years, she became the news reporter and anchor on the weekends in Fort Myers, Florida for WINK-TV. She eventually worked as an anchor at WWL-TV in New Orleans, Louisiana from 1992 to 1998. She was named correspondent for NBC in 1998. Hoda Kotb eventually became the host of Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and co-anchor of the Today Show.
