Haylie is widely known for her role Sandy Jameson in 7th Heaven and Annie Nelson in Love Takes Wing. She was there in the sequel too, Love Finds a Home. Her mother was a film producer and homemaker, while her father was an owner and partner in a convenience store chain. Haylie began training for acting with dancing lessons early in her career. After making small appearances on TV, Haylie got the first chance to perform in a movie where she performed in Napoleon Dynamite as Summer Wheatley. This movie got her the first Teen Choice Award. She kept playing small roles that include American Dreams and the Joan of Arcadia. She worked as a voice artist in the Christmas animation movie “In Search of Santa”. Her sister featured in this as well. In 2005, she started working in “7th Heaven”, the TV series. She played Sandy Jameson.
