Frank Miller is an American comic book artist, writer and film director with an estimated net worth is $40 million. He is best known for his dark comic book stories and graphic novels such as Ronin, Daredevil: Born Again, The Dark Knight Returns, Sin City and 300. He was also the co-director of the film version of The Spirit along with Robert Rodriguez on Sin City and produced the film 300.
Miller had his first published work with Western Publishing’s Gold Key Comics imprint, on the licensed TV-series comic book The Twilight Zone. He gained attention in the comic book scene with his work on Daredevil for Marvel comics. He started as an artist and after 10 issues, he was promoted to both writer and artist. His works included Batman: The Dark Knight Returns and Batman: Year One for DC comics.
Frank went on to publish Dark Horse, the start of his future projects after facing a battle over censorship with DC. With his work, he published first a Sin City short series and later graphic novels in a noir style that captured the dark, grimy and evil town called Basin City, or Sin City to its inhabitants.
Frank Miller is said to have produced some of the best movies that have never been seen on the big screen until 2005 with Sin City, as true a sentiment as could be said for a living artist. He also wrote the major motion pictures RoboCop 2 and RoboCop3 while doing the RoboCop comic series for a little while.
