Eddie Money was born on 21st March, 1949 in Brooklyn. He belongs to an Irish Catholic family – he was raised in Plainedge on Long Island. His drug addiction accompanied by a number of flop albums put him in a very troubled position in life. However, Eddie was able to make a comeback in 1986 with the album “Can't Hold Back”. The album's Ronnie Spector duet "Take Me Home Tonight" soon attained a Top 10 position. Eddie gave another Top 10 hit subsequently, "Walk on Water" in 1988. In 1992, “I'll Get By” reached #21 on the charts.
