Dylan McDermott is an American actor, who’s net worth is estimated at 15 million dollars. He is best known for playing Bobby Donnell, the head of a fictional law firm on the legal drama The Practice. He received a Golden Globe and an Emmy nomination for his work.
He also starred in the first two seasons of American Horror Story. He was born in 1961 in Westbury, Connecticut with the name Mark Anthony McDermott. His stepmother, the playwright Eve Ensler, encouraged him to become an actor. He studied acting at Fordham University. His first film was Twister in 1989, but he was propelled to stardom when he landed a role in In the Line of Fire, co-starring Clint Eastwood. Eventually Clint Eastwood helped him land his role on The Practice.
After The Practice ended, McDermott starred in several other TV shows the most significant of which are the cop drama, Dark Blue, and the miniseries, American Horror Story. He has most recently appeared in the films The Campaign, The Perks of Being a Wallflower and Nobody Walks. He is currently starring in the newly released TV drama Hostages.
