Diego Luna is a Mexican actor which became known for his telenovela works.

Luna began his acting career when he appeared in the 1982 film Antonieta.

In 1992, he landed a role in the telenovela El Abuelo y Yo. He played the role of Quique in the Mexican soap opera El Premio Mayor in 1995. His biggest break as an actor when he joined critically acclaimed Y tu Mamá También in 2001.

He made his name in the United States, appeared in films such as Vampires: Los Muertos in 2002 and the Academy Award-winning Frida in 2002.

In 2011, Luna played the male lead in Katy Perry's music video for "The One That Got Away." He directed his first English-language film, Chávez in 2012. The film followed the life of American labor leader César Chávez, who founded the United Farm Workers.

Diego Luna Alexander was born on December 29, 1979 in Mexico City, Mexico.  He has a son from his marriage to Mexican actress Camila Sodi.
