David Lee Roth is an American musician and songwriter that has an estimated net worth of $60 million. Roth is most famous for being the front man of the hugely successful rock band Van Halen. He also had a successful solo career and wrote a memoir.
He was born on October 10, 1955 in Bloomington Indiana. His father was Nathan Roth who was successful in many fields. His father was a multimillionaire. He attended Pasadena City College where he met Alex and Eddie Van Halen. While he attended College he worked as a hospital orderly.
In 1974 he joined the Van Halen's band named Mammoth. Eventually the band name changed from Mammoth to Van Halen. In 1985 he left Van Halen and started his solo career. In 1998 he released an autobiography and in 1996 he returned to Van Halen for a brief period of time.
