American stand-up comedian and actor Jeffrey Garlin is known for his many talents and has a net worth of $12 million. He was born Jeffrey Todd Garlin on June 5, 1962 in Chicago, Illinois. He became popular for playing the role of Jeff Greene on the HBO show Curb Your Enthusiasm (which he is also a co-producer) , Mort Meyers on Arrested Development for Fox and Netflix and the patriarch of the titular family in the ABC sitcom The Goldbergs.

Garlin joined The Second City comedy troupe in 1984 to pursue stand-up comedy as a career with renowned comedy writer and host of The Tonight Show Conan O’Brien. A man of many hats, Garlin is credited with a variety of film and television appearances including Everybody loves Raymond, Tom goes to the mayor and Entourage. His career has seen a steady and consistent rise that saw him appear alongside Eddie Murphy in Daddy Daycare.

In 2006 at the Tribeca film festival, Garlin’s debut as a director and writer received favorable reviews when he released I Want Someone to Eat Cheese With. Garlin’s talents were enhanced when he lent his voice to the Disney film Toy Story 3 as Buttercup. He also appeared in ParaNorman, Wall-E, and Safety Not Guaranteed. Since 2013, he hosted his own podcast on Earwolf.
